Play is seen throughout history, spanning the globe, and crossing all ages. Whether you are playing bocce ball in your backyard, climbing Camelback Mountain, or swinging at a softball, you are receiving benefits far beyond having fun.

Play invigorates the mind, sharpens motor skills, and invigorates the body. Play has social and emotional rewards and countless health benefits! The American Heart Association encourages you to keep your heart healthy by playing at least 60 minutes each day!
