The Maricopa Council on Youth Sports and Physical Activity (MCYSPA) is a dynamic coalition of community partners formed to respond to the crisis of childhood obesity, physical inactivity, and poor nutrition in Maricopa County, Arizona.

MCYSPA is focused on increasing physical activity levels and healthy food choices, through improving access to, and quality of, facilities and programs.  Particular attention is given to youth, underserved communities, and opportunities to make large-scale impact.
