Maricopa Council on Youth Sports and Physical Activity – MCYSPA
The Maricopa Council on Youth Sports and Physical Activity (MCYSPA) is a dynamic coalition of community partners formed to respond to the crisis of childhood obesity, physical inactivity and poor nutrition in Maricopa County, Arizona.
MCYSPA serves an administrative role, established to identify and marshal local and national resources for maximum community impact.
MCYSPA fosters and facilitates relationships among organizations, agencies, and researchers to improve the infrastructure necessary to combat obesity.
